PE12533SE - heat-shrinkable tubing for insulation of high-voltage busbar (up to 36 kV)

Special High-voltage insulation heat-shrinkable tubing, which are made of radiation cross-linked polyolefin PE12533SE, for isolating of high-voltage busbar round and rectangular, rated at up to 36 kilovolts (HIB - heat-shrinkable insulation busbars). The properties and composition and method of use are similar to the high-voltage tubes PE12523SE, but have a thicker wall and can withstand higher voltages.

Isolating busbars - an effective way to prevent different types of disasters associated with high voltage. Isolated busbars reduces the chance of electric shock, protect against short circuits and leakage caused by hitting the switchboard of small animals and other objects. At the same time high-heat shrinkable tubing protects the busbar from dirt and corrosion, increasing their service life, prevent accidental spark and arc, which is not uncommon for the power industry.

High-voltage tubes PE12533SE allows designers to develop power equipment distributors smaller as isolated busbars can be arranged at a smaller distance from each other. In addition, the high-voltage tubes can simultaneously act as a marking material, allowing to distinguish Busbars in color.

PE12533SE have consistently high quality and reliability. There are two tipes of high-voltage tubes PE12533SE: low flammable tube PE12533SE - (oxygen index> 25) and the tubes with a substantially reduced flammability PE12533SE - (oxygen index = 30 and above). Alva tube PE12533SE are halogen free, so they are safe for humans and environment. Heat-shrinkable tubing PE12533SE are delivered in coils.

Radius of curvature of the electrode rectangular faces (tires) should be at least 0.8 mm. In this condition duting heat-shrinkable tubing will not make any damage to the insulating heat- shrinkable tubing, as well as more smoothly distributed over the surface of the busbars lines of force of the electric field.

* Attention!

This table gives only a reference for the possible reduction of the distance between the basbars inside the switchgear, using high voltage heat shrinkable tubing PE12533SE. The above distances can not be used in the manufacture of equipment without proper testing. Basbars and electrodes with a thin (sharp) edge and unusual geometry may have a higher gap between themselves to avoid electrical insulation breakdown, spark and other unpleasant consequences.
