СВА – heat-shrinkable breakouts

Heat-Shrinkable breakouts (СВА) with hot-melt adhesive layer is heat-shrinkable products with complex shape made from cross-linked polyethylene for usage of heat-shrinkable sleeves.

Ltd. "ALVA" offers two types of heat shrinkable gloves: СВА and KTP produced on different production lines and slightly different from each other.

Heat-Shrinkable breakouts СВА are used primarily in the end (less connection) cable joints for sealing and electrical insulation root cable at cutting it into individual strands. A layer of hot melt adhesive during heat-shrinkable process seals the joint between the glove and the cable wires, protecting and coupling from corrosion and mechanical stress effects (cuts, breaks, etc.). For proper operation of the service life of heat-shrinkable breakouts can serve for more than 20 years!

We offer a two- , three- , four- and five-finger breakouts and breakouts for different cable cross-sections (see table). Breakouts can be used both with the cables in plastic and lead sheath.

Recommendation: There is no fundamental differences in quality and performance between heat-shrinkable breakouts KTP and HST. Both modifications may well replace each other in most cases. The main difference between the products - a few different size range and heat-shrinkable ratio and some discrepancy on the cross sections of cables. During selecting breakouts СВА it is necessary to consider their current stock and the exact size of gloves before and after heat-shrinkable process (you can read them in the table).
